Nothing Lasts Forever
I lose my mind occasionally,
Nothing stays the same.
Except when I’m with you,
Blood burns in my veins.

Together forever,
At least that’s how it goes.
Everything changes,
While nothing grows.

Words of regret,
And bitter remorse.
Soon nothing is everything,
Love words are new scorns.

Sometimes I don’t know what to think,
Everything goes wrong in the end.
But the one thing I know is true,
I really did love you.
