Where did she go?

“Yes officer I understand that but it is dark outside; she hates the dark” Julie Turner claimed. She has always been persistent, a quality of hers that Samuel Turner had always admired in his wife. However, this time no matter how hard she tried, the stranger on the other end of the line just wouldn’t budge. “What did he say, dear?” Samuel questioned a bundle of nerves at this point. Out of all the stunts his reckless teenage daughter had pulled over the years, this was by far the worst.
Lacey Turner, Sweet, Respectful, a natural beauty who had never once in her life has a spot or a blemish to her face, a straight A student with long blonde hair that reached her waist. Well, that was Lacey Turner just 2 years ago. Then she met Brooke Childs. Everything changed. Since, Lacey’s grades had dropped, getting a C on a good day, a rare occasion. It wasn’t just her grades that had dropped. Along with them went her once perky, sweet personality, her motivation, her beautiful golden locks and her natural beauty. Her golden hair was replaced with blue purple hair dye, her once untouched face replaced with bright orange make-up and dark eyeliner along with that blindingly bright pink lipstick.
If there was one thing Samuel Turner disliked more than Brooke Childs, it was what he had done to his daughter. Right now, Brooke Childs was the least of his worries. Reading the look on his wife’s face, Samuel, or Sam as many called him, could tell what was to come. “Hang up Julie, They’re not worth it. I’ll do the job myself” he demanded. When Julie didn’t respond, he paced towards her, wrestled the phone out of her grip and slammed it down. “I guess I’ll do it then” he barked, as he marched out of the room before coming to a halt outside the front door. “I’m going out” Samuel announced ads he pulled on his bulky yet smart coat. He then went on to grab the handle and yanked it with all his might, slamming the door behind him.
