March 2 2008: It was early march and it was just starting to get cold. Cadence was outside with her friend sophie, They were by the lake skipping stones, Well Cadence was anyway. Sophie had trouble getting the hang of it. "Damn it Cadence, How do you do that?" She asked, todding the stones in the lake. Cadence laughed. "You have to snap you wrist, your just throwing them." Cadence laughed. Sophie exhaled. "Whats the point in all this again?" Sophie asked. Cadence shrugged. "Nate and Ethan left this morning, I got bord." Nate was Cadence's brother and Ethan was her mate. "Your alpha female, your never bord." Sophie said. "Yeah, but everybody left. Troy and Taylor went to get there bonding rings and Ferrah and zackary went to go brake there's and I don't know where everybody else went, so where alone." Cadence threw a stone in the water. There was a silence between them. The Sophie stopped throwing rocks. "Cadence?" Sophie asked turning her head. "Yeah?" She asked.
"Do you think, Nate maybe would wanna, bond with me?' She asked. Cadence turned her head. "Sophie, Why wouldn't he, he's your boyfriend." Cadence asked. "Yeah, it's just, we've been together for two years and he hasn't asked yet." Sophie was the sweetest out of of the wolves, She was pretty to, her face was similar to a babies, and her hair was blonde and was similar to Shirley Temple's curles, since she had short hair. and her eyes were pure baby blue which made her puples pop. "All I'm trying to say is, Ethan asked you when you were seventeen, and now your almost twenty, I just wanna be happy, Did you notice I'm the only girl in the pack who doesn't have a bonding ring yet." Sophie said. Cadence almost felt sorry for the eighteen year old. She loved her brother dearly, but she was tired of waiting.
"He'll come around Soph, remember it's Nate." Cadence said trying her best to cheer sophie up.
