1 The running commentary from the airport to the downtown
In the Second World War, Yangon international airport was used for the military purposes. In that time, the British Army stationed near the airport. After the British army left Burma, Myanmar army was replaced in the places of the British army. Some people think the Spitfire fighter jets were buried near Yangon International airport after the Second World War. So, the experts from U K came to Yangon to find the Spitfire fighter jets. But, they didn’t find them because of the wrong location. In the Southeast Asia, there are ten countries. Among them, Indonesia is the largest country. Myanmar is the second largest country with the area of 676,577 square kilometers. The area of Myanmar is the same as the area of Taxes in the United States. We are larger than The United Kingdom and France. But we have just 53 million people. Myanmar is beautiful because the landscapes are different from place to place. We have mountains. We have flat plains. We have beautiful coastal areas. Yangon is different from Mandalay. Mandalay is different from Bagan. Bagan is different from Inle lake. So, everything is different. So, if you visit Myanmar, you will feel Myanmar is beautiful. We have the snow-capped mountain in the north because the northern part of Myanmar is very closed to the Himalayas mountain ranges. So, this is only the country which has the snow-capped mountain in Southeast Asia. You can see some paste on the faces of Myanmar women. That is the traditional make-up. It is called Thanakha. They wear Thanakha every day to protect them from the sunshine and beautify them for getting the bright and smooth skins. Thanakha is very good because it doesn’t have chemical effects. It is natural. In the western Make-up, it has chemical effects. Even though they make the skins bright, they have chemical effects. And Thanakha protects the ladies from the wrinkled face if they wear it regularly. So, you cannot see the wrinkled faces in Myanmar even though the
