Chapter 1

Justice had been dead for two weeks now. He was her whole world and he had died, he threw himself into the energy ball of elemental power, both good and evil, to prevent a power surge that could destroy all of Kimorla. He had absorbed the power because only he could. He was the connection to her and all of her other 5 friends' powers. When he died, so did their powers. He knew he would die, and he did it anyway. His father had forbid him to do it. Justice was told we could find a new way to stop the surge that happened every 1000 years. It happens when all the power over the years builds up and needs to release itself. The downside to this is that its surge wipes out everything. Past ninjas had failed to stop it, and it had looked like they would fail also, and all plans had failed. Justice jumped into the surge and his screams filled the air. His white hair flapped around his face but she could still see his eyes. The pain. He yelled one last yell and light blinded them all and she could not open her eyes, when she did he was gone. A blue piece of cloth was stuck to a tree. That was all that was left of Justice, the ninja of Connection. And her love.

Now, they had to get him back. They had to go to the spirit world and pull him out. This evil was more than any of them could face. They needed Justice.

Chapter 2

She was unsure about the actions that were taking place. But her heart seemed 100% sure about this.

"Whatever it takes to get Justice back,"  it told her. But then her brain seemed to argue.

"Why should we get him back? He left us. We are only doing this because we need our powers to defeat Nashi." Her brain told her. It lacked emotion. It was because it didn't want to feel. She didn't want to feel. But her heart, her weakness, had to always do the opposite of what it was told by the brain. Feel, love, and have empathy when she wished it didn't.

She made herself emotionless as she sat in a circle at the top of the highest building in Kamorla, holding hands with the other 5 ninjas and Justice's father, waiting to open a portal to the spirit realm, the realm that she, JJ, JJ the ninja of water would enter alone, to retrieve the ninja of connections, Justice. Her love.

Chapter 3

JJ watched as the other 5 ninjas and Justice's father chanted. She closed her eyes and waited for the portal to the realm of the dead to open and suck her inside. Once inside she would only have 24 hours to bring Justice's soul to the portal to resurrect him, or she would join him and Kamorla would be destroyed. She could feel her body being sucked inside as the voices of her fellow ninjas grew louder and louder, and soon nothing could be heard but the portal and them.

She screamed. Every particle and fiber of her body could feel nothing but agony as she was pulled inside the swirling vortex. She had been warned of this. Though she screamed, it was not so much as a scream of pain, as it was a scream of longing. She yearned for Justice. For his touch. For his smooth, deep voice. Though she was only 16, and he 17, she was long ago used to this sort of pain, and it came with the job description.

She didn't know when she had passed out, all she knew is that she woke up in a world of wonder and her eyes had never beheld such beauty.

Golden rose petals swirled in the air and grass blew in the wind that seemed to not be there, and giant land masses floated in cloudy skies. She gazed in wonder at the sight. The sound of a guitar could be heard from one of them, and she stood up. Though Justice had never been known to play the guitar, she had no other idea where to go.
