You are swept up by a tsunami and survive, but you don't know where you are. Everything is grey and sodden, but there is no debris and no bodies. Write a papagraph about the first building you explore, do whatever you want with it; you could even meet someone/thing. Hope u guys like/do. :D

It's Wednesday again! The week has gone pretty fast huh? But anyway thanks for the challenge results and here is your new one... Make up a short story about a caterpillar- it can be factual, fiction anything you want!

Good morning! Today's challenge is: create a character named Orange Mcgeee. Give her/him a backstory a desription of personality and what they look like. Good Luck! Due in for Tuesday please. Entries should be posted as comments for this.

Orange Mcgee never listened to anybody. She was full of mischief, had a fiery temper, and short, curly, bright orange-red hair. Her first name wasn't really "Orange," but her dad called her that when she was younger, and it stuck. As she got older, she decided she liked it and never bothered to change it or correct anyone who used it. After all, she reasoned, "Orange" sounded ever so much more intriguing than "June." And if her mother could name her after a month, it was only fair that her father would call her by the name of a color that perfectly described her curls. She once wondered if she'd been born with blonde or brown hair, would her father have called her Blue for her eye color. Or may "Freckles" for the dusting of those tiny spots that covered the bridge of her nose. At least he never called her "Shrimp" despite her slender form and the fact that she only grew to be five-foot-three.
One time, a boy in her class was foolish enough to ask her why she was named after a fruit. He soon learned that while citrus can't punch a person in the nose, a feisty classmate certainly could (even one as pretty as Orange).
Orange Mcgee's Irish family was a large one. She was the oldest of six children, and of all the Mcgees in creation, hers was the smallest family on that particular tree. Family reunions were ridiculous - they would have to rent out an entire hotel, or book a huge hall normally reserved for weddings.
Because she never backed down from a fight, and because she was as stubborn as a sweet tooth, she spent a great deal of her school years either in the Nurse's office or in detention. Oddly enough, almost everybody loved her. Those who didn't were the ones sitting in the Nurse's office and detention with her.
All of which suited Orange to a tee...until she graduated from college and had her first encounter with the real world by getting a job in a real estate office (she'd majored in business and minored in real estate). That was where she learned a boss is nothing like a father, a job is nothing like homework, and co-workers...well, one simply did not punch one's co-worker in the eye and get no more than a note home to one's mother.
So Orange did what anyone with a personality like hers would do - she quit, and went into business for herself as a free-lance online real estate agent. Everyone said she'd never succeed because the market was too big and too competitive, and housing prices were too uncertain. But Orange Mcgee never listened to anybody, never backed down from a fight, and was as stubborn as a sweet tooth.
