Yeah Tonks is daughter of Andromeda, who is Bellatrix's sister and Sirius' cousin. So, she is a second cousin. And if you think that Snape is 25 years old in HP & the Order of the Phoenix, when Harry is 15, then do you think Lily and James gave birth to Harry at an age of 25-15=10?? They didn't even go to Hogwarts then!!
Lupin, Snape, Sirius, Lily and James are all the same age, that is nearly THIRTY SIX! Bellatrix was NEVER in Tom Riddle's year. She became a death eater in her teenage, so did Snape. And at that time, VOLDEMORT existed. That's why no one KNEW he was the same Tom Riddle. Tom Riddle was at Hogwarts with Myrtle and Hagrid! Lucius was in seventh year when James, Snape etc. joined Hogwarts, so was Narcissa, and again . . . there was NO Tom Riddle there!
