Heya. I haven't been on here for like three years myself but I figured I should try and see if anyone's still alive anyways...
We used to be so active in here, what happened to everyone? :(
Anyone alive speak up please...

Every six years, a government-operated program reaches into the general public for recruits.
They call themselves the GMO Program, and are responsible for the creation of hundreds of human weapons since their existence became known nearly a century ago in 2234. Graduates of this program are seen everywhere you might expect the law or government to be involved- they are present in the police force, the armies, they work as spies and conduct research and take strong involvement in making decisions for the "greater good" of their country.
When they eventually took complete control of the American government, it was highly doubted that too many people noticed.
They did start noticing, however, when they started to conquer other countries. All over the world, the same program had been set up without those in power knowing that others existed. When the time came to really exert their control, the leaders and what remained of the country's government didn't stand a chance.
The result was chaos.
There was Rebellion. It was squashed, like crushing a bug underneath a boot. Those who were not executed were forced to flee to countries where GMO's attempts at gaining power failed- England, Russia, Australia, and others. On the other hand, they have full control over the North and South Americas, Asia, and the vast majority of Europe are under total control.
Those who live in those places follow a distinct set of rules:

1: Your occupation is determined at birth. Unless you suck absolute ass at doing your job or are recruited, your education past basic math and reading will center entire around your career.

2: Graduates of the GMO Program are to be treated with utmost respect. Speak only when spoken to, and never look one in the eye unless given permission to do so.

3: You must be in your homes between the hours of 6 a.m. and 12 p.m. (night. That's confusing. I mean midnight) police force has been cleared to shoot violators on sight.

4: You may not communicate with or travel outside of GMO controlled countries. As such, phone calls, text messages, PMs, Emails, and other means of communication are closely monitored. Internet usage is restricted to approved websites only.

That's where you come in, dear player.
You see, it happens that this year is one in six. Recruitment Year. And you've been extended an invitation to join the ranks of your oppressors.
They've been watching you for awhile. Liked what they saw.
You do have the option of declining, but it's required that you go to the orientation held in Washington D.C., where GMO's control is strongest (in America, anyways. There's a Capital Building in every country). There recruits are trained. Transportation will be provided (assuming you don't live in D.C.) and should you accept this invitation you will be expected to cut any and all ties with those you know and love. You have a day after being approached to gather any necessary belongings and leave; maybe temporarily,maybe not.

Rules:
-Typical no god-modding or power playing stuff.
-Keep your arguments in the PMs, please
-Tragic back stories are encouraged, just don't go overboard with it. If at any point your character looks like a Mary Sue you'll be labeled a White and we'll all make fun of you.
-You MUST take this quiz (http://uquiz.com/49iypn) in character. It is crucial that you know what your character's personality color is. When the time comes the RPG will require that they be tested and assigned the color your character got as a result. Until then, they don't know what it is.
-If your quiz results come up white, change your character.
-Yes, characters are allowed to have relationships that exist prior to the beginning of RPG.
-Must send sheets to me for approval before posting.
-I'm going to ask that you limit your number of characters to two.
-Due to a few personal matters, I understand that I won't be as active as I'd like to be. If my turn comes around and I don't answer within a couple of days, skip me and I'll get to posting when I can. I just ask that you won't skip me more than twice, pretty please?

Hey out there xD

(I have no inspiration for the RPGs I'm involved in so I thought, Hey! why not start a new one till it comes back)

In this world there are three species of humans:
Homosapien (Wise)
Homofortis (Strong)
Homopotentem (Powerful)

Homosapien/Sapiens: Basically your average human.
APPEARANCE: Look in a mirror
FORTE: Intelligence
SEX: Binary
LIFE EXPECTANCY: 90 years
They are the brains of their world, their minds are their greatest assets allowing them to imagine and create things that no other creature could dream of. They are dominant in terms of ruling powers as they are the ones who constructed the understanding of politics and trials.

Homofortis/Fortisuns:
APPEARANCE: the average adult Fortisun is 7 and a half feet tall, they have four flared nostrils to increase oxygen intake, with a super efficient heart and four lobed lungs. They have very dark skin, tough skin that protects against harsh weather. Their eyes are rather intriguing with very thick eyelashes, red striped whites and three blue pupils. Their hair if usually black, dark blue or dark red. Their eyes are either red, gold or dark blue.
FORTE: Strength and speed
SEX: Singular (they are hermaphrodites) (However, as their chromosomes are similar to the XX of female sapiens, they all use female pronouns)
LIFE EXPECTANCY: 70 years
While they are not the smartest of the three species, they are most definitely the strongest. Their physical prowess makes them vital to Sapiens. The pair have a 'brawnandbrains' approach to life with many Sapiens and Fortisuns being paired together as children. Thanks to the Fortisuns toiling to construct the wonderous things the Sapians dream up, the society of this world is very much more advanced than the one you live in. Their strength is also matched by their speed, the slowest Fortisun can easily outrun the fastest Sapien or Potentum.
Don't assume that just because they aren't clever, they are slow witted. Now, they can be just as sharp tongued, witty or sarcastic as a Sapien.

Homopotentem/Potentems:
APPEARANCE: skin has a gold complexion, the pores of their chakra points are rimmed with either red or blue. They have quite thin lashes and their pupil is triangular, splitting the iris in three. The three sections of the iris are either a different shade of the same colour or, less commonly, three completely different colours (both eyes do match). Hair is usually metallic in colour: golds, bronzes, coppers and silvers. Eye colours can be any colour in the visible spectrum of light.
FORTE: They have superhuman abilities (e.g. elemental, illusions (NOT super strength, speed or intelligence)), that are powered through energy that runs through the pores of their chakra points.
SEX: Three sexes (all three can mate with each other to produce off spring (you don't need three people to make kids)) Male (YY), Female (XX), Chimale (XY) (Pronouns used are Ve (s/he), Ver (her/him) and Vis (her/his). (while they have three sexes, their is little concept of gender)
LIFE EXPECTANCY: 100 years
Potentums don't quite fit. That's their problem. While they aren't openly shunned, they clearly don't belong anywhere outside of their mountain temples where they congregate to train and enhance their abilities.
They aren't as smart as Sapiens or as strong or fast as Fortisuns but they have a strange connection with the world around them and their abilities make up for lack of prowess in other areas.

Hybrids: Interbreeding between the three species is forbidden due to the extreme dangers for everyone involved. All hybrids are killed at birth.

Bio: Rella grew up in a family partnership. Her predecessors were paired with the Sapiens of the family just as she is paired with the eldest son of the Sapien family. While she and her Sapien don't always see completely eye to eye, they would be pretty lost without each other.

Bio: He's partnered with Rella. He is ever so slightly jealous of her effortless strength but rarely dwells on the matter. While he is very intelligent, he isn't necessarily wise often acting rather recklessly. He has a clever but rude mouth that often gets him in to trouble.
He detests spicy things but enjoys making sweet foods for Rella to try.

Congratulations! You've been Chosen! :D Don't you feel special?
I'll just let you enjoy that special before I ruin it with explaining things...
First things first: You're immortal. Not a true immortal, of course; you just don't die of age or sickness. You even get to keep looking nineteen well into your fifties. Yay for you, but you're still vulnerable to things like car accidents and certain angry blonde girls with pocket knives.
As you may have already discovered (or not) you also have a Talent. And I don't mean like being good at playing the piano.
Nope. You have superpowers.
Talents are divided into three categories: Talent, Type(subcategory to Talent) and then Specific, or what it is you actually do. Of course, there are Talents that don't get as far as Type without their power being pretty self explanatory.
There are three Talents that are the most common, two of which are broadest in the amount of things that fall under these: Manipulative, Sensory, and the Beast Talent.
Manipulative divides into two Types: Mental and Physical, Mental being thinks that include but are not limited to: hypnosis, illusions, messing with memory, ect. Physical Types often either shape-shift into one animal, multiple people, or sprout extra limbs like wings or a third foot.
Sensory Talents have four Types and no third Specific category: Sight, Touch, Smell, and Hearing. Sensory Talents have one of those senses amplified, and are often extremely sensitive.
Lastly, the Beast Talent.
It doesn't divide into Types; it's just the Talent. They're Hulks, pretty much. If you piss 'em off badly enough they hit ragefit mode, black out, and become uncontrollable from that point. They're stronger when their Talent has been activated and only lasts a few minutes.
How powerful they are depends on the rings that appear on their skin at any time during puberty. The more rings they have, the more powerful they are, because those rings amplify both energy and rage. Weaker ones may only have only one or two, where the most powerful Beast Talent ever heard of had ten.

Next stop, Purpose.
Every Chosen person has a Purpose. It's the reason you were born, why you exist, and often has to do with your Talent. You become aware of what your Purpose is through broken bits of a vision that you get at any point in your life, either while you're sleeping or at random moments awake. We'll come back to Purpose shortly...

Seekers. Uhm.
Those are people who have inherited something that stays dormant except for once every few thousand years. When someone who's inherited it has a kid, the kid gets it and the parent no longer does...If that makes sense....
But every few thousand years awakens and...well..
Think of it as population control. Chosen are immortal(in a way). If someone doesn't do away with them, their numbers would likely increase to a very large number in which something very bad could happen. Seekers are like programmed killbots: no morals, or conscience, or free will. They're fast, strong, absolutely ruthless, and basically a permanent Beast Talent. Not to mention that if they lay their palm on your head you might just explode into a shower of ash, never to be seen again. Bye-bye. And they're very, very good at passing for a regular person.
You had the fantastic luck to be Chosen while these things are waking up and changing people. Which means they'll be hunting you.

Aaanndd...back to the Purpose.
I've decided that every lucky character gets the following Purpose vision:
*You're running. Tree limbs smack against your face, your body tearing at your clothes and pulling your hair. Tall grass whips against your legs and roots threaten to trip you as you run blindly through the forest. You don't care where you're going, so long as it puts space between you and those...those things you're running from.
For a horrible moment, everything is silent except for your rough breathing and tearing through plant life, and you wonder with dawning horror if they can fly. Your gaze moves upwards, scanning the sky frantically for them. The once blue sky has been dyed red, and you can feel heat at your back now. Smoke chokes your lungs and stings your eyes. You hear footsteps that aren't yours behind you and panicked, you turn-*

Of course, it's not going to be exactly the same as what you see. You'll get this same vision repeatedly. :P
It's your Purpose, the reason you were born. And maybe the reason you'll die, too.
