Passing on some useful information:

Heart Attack info on Aspirin

You should not lie down while waiting for the Ambulance

Just a reminder to all: purchase a box of aspirin and keep one in your car, pocketbook, wallet, bedside, etc.

Nice to know. Bayer is making a crystal aspirin to dissolve under the tongue. They work much faster than the tablets.

She told me 100% organic cold pressed coconut oil was great for preventing cavities. After reading this article, I am ready to buy a bottle. Apparently it is healthy, helps you lose weight and gives you energy.

Any type of berry tastes awesome and they have antioxidants. But recent studies show that they can really benefit your mental health as well. People over the age of 60 who regularly eat an assortment of berries have better memory than those who don't eat them very often. People who regularly eat berries also show less symptoms of declining brain function than others. So stock up on the berries!
Other things that benefit your... mehr anzeigen

I'm hoping that if I eat enough berries, I'll remember how I got here.

bookzilla

because i like to keep a bag of them in the freezer for smoothies (that i have 4-5 times each week). berries are kinda expensive when they're fresh.

unfortunately, when you're landlocked, so is salmon :(

You can over do anything.

All things in moderation. Well most things in moderation.

I try not to drink too much water. Did you know you can drink too much water?

I had a friend that was hospitalized for a week because he drank too much water. Drinking too much water can actually kill you.

It is called water toxicity, or water intoxication.

By WeatherBug Meteorologist, Chad Merrill

The warm weather season offers more opportunity to exercise but before you head outdoors, you have to be mindful of the elements.

It`s particularly important to avoid exercising in the heat of the day. A morning jog prior to 10 a.m. or a late afternoon or evening run after 3 p.m. is the best time to avoid the sun`s direct rays and the warmest temperatures. Symptoms of heat exhaustion... mehr anzeigen

Coughing my head off Von: RevkenR

Well I was worried about COPD, but it looks like it is just my medication. I am taking a High Blood Pressure medication, and I just looked up it's side effects. "Persistent non productive cough." That is exactly what I have. It also said that NSADs would help with the side effects. It also said they would limit it's effectiveness.

Cough, or die, or die coughing?

Any thoughts?

Ah, side effects from medications. Boy, can I so relate to that. I was on a cholesterol medicine. But it kept making me itch and break out, so I had to quit taking it. Besides, diet and exercise can control my cholesterol levels, anyway. I hope you feel better soon, Ken. Maybe... mehr anzeigen

I was on another Med. It cost $50.00 for a 30 day supply, the one I am on now cost $4.00 for a 30 day supply.

So I can cough or go to the poor house.

angamonkey

Try drinking tea and things with ginger just to help sooth the cough while you're on the medication. Are there other alternatives to the medication that aren't as costly as the previous one? It sucks that people have to pay so much for something they really need >_<

RevkenR

I do all the other things, strenuous exercise, good diet I drink tea, and I love ginger and honey. Actually it all helps with my heart rate, but my blood pressure is still a bit on the high side.

The only thing, when I exercise No cough. It is only when I am resting and... mehr anzeigen

Splenda, also known as sucralose, is an artificial, chemical sweetener.

Despite advertisements stating "Made from Sugar, so it Tastes like Sugar," which attempt to confuse consumers, Splenda is not natural and contains no elements of natural sugar.

You may also be surprised to learn that Splenda contains chrlorine. Yes, the same chlorine that goes in swimming pools. And here's the worst side effect:

Just like chlorine kills off... mehr anzeigen
