Hello everyone,
We are thrilled to finally announce that you can NOW register for the test platform of the new Bookrix! Here are a few things you'll need for login and some general information:
You can find the test platform at: new.bookrix.com
In the top right corner, you'll find the registration button. (Your accounts don't exist there yet, as it's just a test environment.) After registering, you'll receive an email to confirm your email address, and then you can log in.
Under "Help & Support," you'll also find a channel where you can post all your feedback: Whether it's a bug, a missing feature, suggestions for improving features - anything you can think of, you can post. Feel free to try everything out and never hesitate to contact me.
I would also like to remind you of a few things:
The test environment is a basic version, reduced to the essentials. Especially the design and features, which we want to refine together with you, are far from a final release. The functionality will be expanded accordingly during the test. It is already known that the edit function for threads/posts is not yet working, but we are working on it.
The test environment initially holds a maximum of 1000 users, i.e., it's "first come, first served."
The test is expected to run until the end of March. After the tests are completed and the feedback is implemented, as well as all the outstanding functions, we will then make the official switch to the BX platform. Only then will the old one be shut down and the accounts, content, books, etc., be migrated to the new one.
As Johannes has also mentioned several times: EVERYTHING will be DELETED after the test. To quote him directly here:
"But this also means that content created on the new platform during the test phase will be deleted again for the final switch so that we can cleanly migrate the old content and data. So you are invited to test the new platform with test content (you can also use real content, but please save it outside the new platform; we don't want valuable stories to be lost)."
The existing Bookrix platform here will continue to be maintained and operated as usual during this time. I am simply active on both and your direct contact person if you want to report something, give feedback, have questions, and more.
Let us once again build on the collaborative spirit that once made Bookrix so lively and popular. Never hesitate to reach out to me.
Kind regards,
Lili
