What makes a good children's picture book?
I believe a good children's picture book should create an imagined world that pulls a child in and causes them to feel apart of the story that is being told.
What do you think?
i think a successful children's book depends on the illustrations- my friend's neice loves the book "the hungry catepillar"- plus you need to take into account that the mom is most likely the one to buy it, so you have to target the mom as well.

I noticed that there's not much activity going on, despite the large numebr of members. it's kind of a little depressing, as if this is a virtual ghost-town.
Don't worry: I've got an idea:
We should do one of those sentence-by-sentence stories, where everyone contributes a sentence. There will be a very loose plot to follow. How those things come to pass is entirely up to the colective ever-changing mind of us though.... mehr anzeigen
