Over a beautiful field of golden Lilacs stood a little girl , she held a bouquet full of flowers for her mother , who was living three yards from the point she was standing. Beautiful mother was cooking ham with the most beautiful smile on her face , pile of ice cream and desserts were lying over the table , freshly cooked chicken would be served for the invited gentlemen and ladies at the eve. A Sudden knock on the door "Mother! Mother! I am back ". Mother opened the door to see her daughter in brightest red. Red is the most beautiful color in the universe my dear friend. Your heart melts by looking at the red apple or red roses for Valentine. Little do you know it hides an ugly face at the corner. It likes to be worshipped like dead lovers on a bloody valentine , it likes to vanquish the eternal birth of beauty by stabbing with the sharpest knife of death. Death the evil vampire, the beast who feast on red blood. Cold stare of a red blood is deadlier than blazing fire because it likes to marry death at that instant. Red awaits for Death to come and romanticize her, to create a cult of dead hearted souls . Dear reader all you should know the girl a gift of life, bathed with red blood to romanticize with the death of not her, but her pregnant mother's stabbed womb.

Horror writers! I call on you to reveal some of your most terrifying locations. What are some places you've sent (or dragged) your protagonists to that you'd never want to visit yourself? Places that make your skin crawl or your spine stiffen?

I'm not specifically a horror writer, but I try to spook my readers every once in a while. One of my scariest locations is a setting in my scifi novel series, Strand. The place is called "The Gray" and it's a temporal dimension layered on top of our own. It's a planet made of colorless, clammy corpses that are all bound together in a giant knot. It floats in a place of infinite blackness and the bodies sway silently around, as if on the wind, though there is none. People who venture there in dreams or unconsciousness never remember it, when they wake up. The bodies are actually the souls of everyone who has died in the series, trapped together, unable to rest, while the Gray grows with each death.

Alright. Your turn. Scare me! Go!
