A lovely poem that reminds us to stop occasionally & take time to look closely at our reflection in order to take stock of our lives.

Kudos, Tonya you have conveyed so much, in so few words.

I like it, but you know what I see when I look into the mirror? I see a person who appreciates beauty and tranquility, enjoys indolent days of doing nothing but thinking, thoughts of how I can be a better person. I see a lady who is enthusiastic in her aspirations yet rather reserve around a lot of people. There is not many in my circle and that's okay, the truth of matter is, I'm happier that way. Drama is not my thing but I've seen enough to write about it! I see a person whose hard on herself when things don't go as she plans and I carry it in my demeanor all day long, yet what I see is Me! With all of my flaws along with it. But God is not thru with me yet! I'm still a work in progress and I'm learning that what I want, isn't mine to have just yet. God knows what I stand in need of and knows when I'm deserving of it. HE always has a better plan. :) I enjoyed your poem and looking forward to reading more! May God Bless!

I usually avoid mirrors because I have always thought that my features aren't in place at all. But I suppose your poem might challenge that view of myself. As usual, you deliver another awesome book :)
