Many progressives are illiberal in their methods, and that is regrettable, but
the real reason that progressives win the culture war is that they are
generally right and conservatives are generally wrong. Ultimately the truth
will out- like the Earth revolves around the Sun (not recognized by the
Catholic Church until the 20th century); slavery is wrong, women should have
the right to vote, etc.) Conservatives seem to be reliably on the wrong side
of every values issue- it just takes many years to recognize the truth.
