Lyric: Nineteen year old Lyric Mason, has the weight of the world on her shoulders. Between school, relationships and dealing with her new found pregnancy, Lyric just doesn't know what to do. She wants to stay strong for her platinum selling boyfriend, Devon Mitchell, but it gets hard when she realizes that her life has been nothing but trouble since they hooked up. Nevermind the fact that Devon has a two month old daughter who's mother is the complete defintion of a "Hoodrat". Lyric needs Devon to stand by her for the sake of their child, but she's worried that she'll yet again be put in a dangerous position to get her heart broken.

Devon: Whoever said that money make you happy has not met rap icon Devon Mitchell. He went from selling drugs, to promoting top selling albums, and peforming in places that he'd never even heard of. At only twenty years old, Devon is already the father of a two month old babygirl, December, and his unborn child with Lyric. Although he wants to continue living his lavish lifestyle, he isn't so sure that he can. He can't help but feel guilty for the way that Lyric's life has turned out. He's afraid that if he makes one wrong move, he could lose her forever. How will Devon balance out his family affairs and business, when it's all about the benjamin's?

I started reading this story and got a severe case of déjà vu. I think it was the character's names. have you publiched this story somewhere else before?
