This is no cat and mouse more like lion versus cheetah. I think this isn't jealousy but evil craziness. For it to be jealousy the victim would have had to dated the coffee boy. Either way you lead the reader to the unexpected. Very nicely done. I love the way you think...

Oh wow! God, this is such a terrifying yet endearing story! It's amazing the little details you put in at the beginning that, at first seeming insignificant, came back to prove important. Like Amanda's sigh...
You are right about the typos; there are quite a few, but it's nothing that a good comb-through can't fix :)
Otherwise, the story was beautifully structured, with a very valuable lesson to be learned.
