It’s been 8 years since Desirae has seen her hometown. She doesn’t exactly know the reason why her mother yanked her and her twin sister Maddy away from the warm cozy home they've always known so abruptly. When her mother Mira was offered a job too good to turn down she reluctantly moved her small family back to Ojai, CA.
Rae had to make a life changing decision that will forever haunt her. She and her small family have to keep that secret that will get harder to hide when they move back to their hometown. When it starts to complicate their relationships with loved ones Rae must decide whether to tell the truth or continue keeping it in regardless of the consequences to those around her.
