Willie North is a successful, hardworking pig farmer, known all around Muddy Fork as a kind man and a good neighbor. However, due to his weight and looks, Willie couldn't attract a woman, no matter how hard he tried. this seems very much like a rip-off of Cockeyed cowboys of calico County. it has the same plot, a blacksmith because of his weight and size cant seem to find a women to marry, so he orders a mailorder bride from boston and ends up having his heart broke. plus when he goes to pick her up the whole town shows up as well

I am always excited when I see one of your books posted. They are perfect little treats that offer wholesome lessons of life without being preachy. Wonderful, down-home storytelling . . . simply GOOD! Always a pleasure.

Excellent story telling. You've inspired me, you could say. Not too short, not too long. Just right. I think I've got the gist of things, well, for now anyways. I'm going to try my hand at a short story like this before I do any more writing.

The stories are really funny and witty all at the same time. A perfect combination!
