At thirteen years old Jennifer Gilmore feels like nothing more than a doorstop in the home of her new step father but then she meets Allen, an older man who listens to her and makes her feel special. Despite not feeling ready she lets him have sex with her as a way of affirming her love for him.
Soon after she starts doing ‘favours’ for his friends but Jen remains oblivious to what is truly happening and thinks she is doing it to keep Allen out of danger.
