She saw the shadow at the window move, she saw him raise the gun and aim it at her. She wanted to scream at him, but there was no time. He smiled just as she heard the loud blast. Saeward could almost see the bullet coming toward her.
“No! No!” she had screamed. She only had time to take one step back. “Oh God … no!”

My heart soared when I saw that photo! Thank you NYT! I don’t pay attention to
“viral” but I do read NYT digital, where I saw Parker transfixed. Made my day.

Putin is not stupid....he is much smarter than Trump and playing him like a
fiddle.

Yes - when Bush closed all those military bases in the northern half of the
US, that left us very vulnerable in areas like New England. Closing the
Brunswick Naval Air Station and moving that to Florida so Jeb could get
elected has left Maine and New England exposed!
