The perception of what makes a good or strong leader isn't formed in a vacuum.
Maybe the reason most people think of men when they think of a ""leader-type""
is because, historically, it's men that have been effective (and ineffective)
leader-types? On average, men of the human species are stronger and faster
than their female counterparts, and so it is in Nature that when one sex of a
species can dominate another - they do! It's part of Nature and it's part of
our nature, and no amount of Liberal proselytizing is going to change Natural
Law anytime soon. That's not to say that women can't be strong leaders in the
modern world - they can! But the perceived link between leadership and
physical dominance remains, and that perception isn't formed in a vacuum,
folks.
