So, I tweaked the story, but just a bit. She's my grandma's friend, so she's...not as young as she once was. She actually remembered the name of the "mystery" boy who kissed her, but she couldn't recall the name of the boy who took her on the date.

I'm speechless, lol. Your story is good but has left me with a big curiosity. Has your friend ever found who he was?

About the cover, I agree with bookzilla. Put some colour to it.

another great entry... although i must admit that i would have been kind of creeped out if a stranger kissed me under a tree :)
also, i think your cover would be more affective if it was in color, i couldn't even tell it was a willow tree at first.
