Here we have a president bragging that he tried to bully another leader while
being deliberately ignorant of whether what he was saying was true.

There's a lot of things troubling here in a president thinking that he doesn't
have to know what's true or not when he meets with foreign leaders.

But what's truly troubling is that he thinks he is so all powerful he can brag
about not having to know the truth - that he is, in his power or greatness,
above the small niceties of reality and that all that matters is that if he
asserts it, it must be true.

It's his old comment ""I could should a guy in plain daylight on 5th avenue
and get away with it"" applied to presidential power.

And there will be, yet again, no consequences at all for his bragging about
knowingly being wrong -none.

America is somehow training this man to do something truly horrific, and he is
showing himself ready and willing and, as president, uniquely powerful to do
so.

For some reason I think this is more terrifying than it seems at first glance,
and at first glance it seems pretty bad.
