Wow, I didn't expect the ending. I liked them.

I get the feeling many readers are not thoroughly appreciating these three stories, but I must say that I did. The final scene is dark, dark, dark, and yet as stories go it did its job perfectly.
If I had one observation concerning them (plural), it would be this: As Drabbles...by definition...could any, save the last, stand alone? Even so,the writing is very, very nice.
