Some ‘mistake’
A mistake is setting your alarm clock to p.m. instead of a.m., or buying 2
percent milk instead of 1 percent. Taping a naked woman to exercise rings,
then blindfolding, photographing and allegedly blackmailing her is not a
“mistake.”
And now a growing number of Republicans are questioning whether Missouri Gov.
Eric Greitens should remain in office? I suppose this is the new normal, with
Greitens now in the pantheon of Republicans who have left wives in the dust:
Donald Trump, Bob Dole, Newt Gingrich, Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Arnold
Schwarzenegger, Mark Sanford, Rudy Giuliani and Bob Barr, to name a few.
Had Bill Clinton divorced Hillary Clinton, married Monica Lewinsky and
switched parties, likely all would have been forgiven.
But don’t worry, Governor. It will all blow over. Memories are short. After
all, “The Bachelor” is on tonight.
