HOW DID YOU DRAW THE PICS IN YOUR BOOK

This is a darling story about a serious problem. I love the dogs and the story is terrific. It's too complicated with the words for kids but it is excellent for adults. You might check it with an early childhood expert but the story would be great for 6 to 10 year olds. This is a great story.

Thanks for sharing your work with me. I like the illustrations. The fact that you tackle a hard subject shows how strongly you feel about the disease. I applaud your courage.

Children do need to understand that people are different. It's my opinion that young children couldn't grasp all the ideas you present in the book. Children below the age of seven usually can't think abstractly. Perhaps, the book is for older children.

You provide many useful details about the disease which adults can certainly understand.

The spelling that is incorrect is part of the dialect of Shadow. He drops his 'g' and shortens some of his words - a real New Yorker - at least I hope that is what my spelling scores are about - I off for a re read...Paula

I liked it a lot, although I found the printing hard to read. I would have printed the words on the computer and had them underneath and used a few more pages. It is easy to scan in and paste on a page. It's a cross between a story board and a picture book. Way cool.

I love the drawings and the conversation between the characters. It's a cute story and an enjoyable read. This tale helps children understand the disease in an entertaining way. Good luck and best wishes.
