You and your grandson have created another children's book that is as informative as it is entertaining. I especially like how you bring life to each dog's personality in every book, and maintain a sense of consistency in your characters across the K9 chronicles.

I had fun with this one - since they are dogs, and 'we' all loved Rin Tin Tin and Lassie, it was a fairly easy go with writing this. Found out a couple of things I did not know - I had gone after the background of Skippy better known as Asta - the Thin Man's Dog -he never got a star. Strongheart was the second dog handled by his trainer that was in films but the first dog to make it big and his was the first star in the walk...the stars were put in the order they went in on the star page. I did not give more information on Rin Tin Tin because it is all copyrighted...my first commentator on the story is a 7 year old girl - the start of my target age - I am glad you enjoyed reading this - I certainly enjoyed writing it!....Paula

I'm with kingfisher, and the "punk-dog" thing you've got going here. I'll bet your son had a blast with that.
As usual, you've got a lot of great morals here, as well as entertainment.
I love the fact that you do research too. Not too many people take the time necessary to really create an accurate pictue of what they're writing about when they don't spend that time.
I always learn something new from you, as well as 'delight' in your pictures. I just love all your doggies:)!
