Artwork
A few of the paintings I did back in the late 80s and early 90s. I was totally into non-representational art; enamored with the L.A. school at the time.

Wow! I didn't know you were so talented.
Not just the art work but you build the pieces, even the moving parts. 'A Jack of all Trade' my friend. I love all your pieces, but Ghetto Book sparked something in me from the moment I saw it. The simplistic clean lines and the fluidity of the structure is amazing. I can't stop staring at it. Well done Jack! Sorry Patrick....:)

I set up his booth for the art Affair in Laguna Beach, and while it was going on he commuted 60 miles one way.He sold quite a few and then was picked up by a gallery in Palm Springs. Someone wanted to hire him to do paintings for Motel rooms, of course this wasn't his thing and thankfully he turned them down. He painted for many years and even let our two small grandson paint a piece on watercolor paper, and they were framed.

:) Yes, Sereni. I recall Ethan and Riley painting after I showed them how to depress the button on top of the gun, and then pull the trigger. It wa SO funny! They were in smocks hanging down over their little feet that wound up covered in paint, and what they wound up... mehr anzeigen

I never truly respected modern art, Pat, but with your analogy of each piece I could appreciate its deeper meaning.
My favorite piece has to be, 'Young Marvin Fuster Escapes the Burning Orphanage', as it gives the perfect backdrop to an already excellent story.
Thank you, for giving me a different perspective on this type of art.

You sir are a true artist. A true artist is one who can come up with new things to present to the world.
As far as your works are concerned...I've truly not seen the likes...and I've looked into many.

We still have several pieces in our home, of clocks, and a favorite piece he did for me framed on our wall. Half of the art is the construction, the other half is the painting which is very time consuming, and done with an air brush.

Wow! Why have you hidden this talent for so long? I wish you wouldn't have taken that gallery owner's comments to heart. Great stuff. Ah, well, your talents has taken several paths....

Interesting art work, I like the use of color, and the movement of the pieces.

Wow! There seems to be no limits to your talent, Pat! I love the way you imposed linear structures on curved ones, and the colors are primal, raw, and beautifully placed. What the heck was that art gallery owner thinking? The ins and outs of your stories are well-represented in... mehr anzeigen

Thank you Judy, Ken, Sabrina, Stephanie, and John! Not sure just why I created this book, but it does my heart and soul good that each of you took the time to browse through it. It was a pretty exciting time for a while.
