This one's perfect. Every sentence, every word used with a master's sureness. The suspense is phenomenal. The images are shocking and brutal in the way you presented them to the reader. They work perfectly.
I too loved how you structured it in reverse time. If the technique has been done before, I don't think it could have been done any better. Congratulations, Patrick. This IS Literary at its finest.

I'm not normally a fan of this sort of story, but that was incredibly well-told, Patrick. I looooooved how you went backwards in time... reminded me of the movie "Memento". Way to go!!
