Aside from a few formatting and grammar errors, this has great promise. You handle it differently than I've seen others do, and I like your character's thought processes. I also like that you stick to the main character's point of view and stay in the proper tense. So many writers can't seem to get that right - great job! And yes, I think it's worth continuing.

I quite enjoyed what you have in it. I couldn't see many mistakes but his drunk speech at one point got a bit hard to understand but that is understandable since he was drunk. But I really liked it! I hope you update soon!
