Thanks for your comments... I appreciate your interest in this book. Allah is not the only name of God... Allah is one of His names... He can be called by any good name that one wishes.... Because to Him belong the most beautiful names... Regarding Quran taking text from the old scriptures, I think that it is better to view this as a smilaritiy between the Bible and the Quran... The very first verse of the Bible (Genesis Ch:1 V:1) says that "In the Begining God created the heavens and the earth".. And the word for God in the original Hebrew text is "Elohim". "El" in Hebrew is God, "Elah" (which is similar to Allah)in Herbrew means God. And Ilohim is Plurality in the respect of God. But I dont stress on calling him Allah only.. He can be Rehman, Raheem, Gracious, Merciful, Glorious so on and so forth.
Instead of accusing one another of having plagiarised, we can think of our similarities as common points to agree upon and join hands for. So Bible and Quran in some respects are similar.
Regarding the Alpha and the Omega: yes Bible refers to God by these words (as beginning as well as the end)in the very first chapter of the Book of Revelations.And I agree that God is the Beginning as well as the End.
Regarding Jesus being the Son of God, that is a debatable issue which we can discuss with clear heart and sincerety to each other....

God - Never referrs to himself as Allah. God refers to himself in many ways in the Old Test:

= The Alpha (beginning)& Omega (end),
= The creator of heaven and earth,
= Our Provider,
= The Father, having one son Jesus.

The Quran has taken scriptures from the bible, not the other way around; most believe in the Old Test, and that Moses and Jesus are prophets. Jesus may have been considered a prophet, but he is also the Son of God, and the only way anyone can enter into eternal life.

I appreciate your answers and I liked your book. I wish the title should have been "THE GOD OF ALL FAITHS." You have written a very good book. you deserve appreciation. I am happy to note that muslims believe in Jesus's virgin birth. But what about the divinity of Jesus?
