Trump has stated, in effect, he wants to stir up trouble in the international
status quo. The current foreign policy (the existing status quo) of the US has
been relatively successful for several decades. Strength through diplomacy has
achieved reductions in world-wide poverty, oppression, and unnecessary human
suffering.
Leaders with old world foreign policy mentalities in several countries
consider people expendable in their quests for individual power. They have
learned nothing from history and have no courage to envision a world of
peaceful human existence. Destruction is their goal. They loathe humanity. In
my view, many have no ability or desire to do the hard work of cooperation and
tolerance required for the shrinking world of human beings.
John Bolton has stated, in effect, there is no such thing as the United
Nations. Though he served a the US Ambassoador to the UN, his failure to
perceive the success of the “United” States, democratic values, and individual
rights and translate this into a vision for a peaceful world through strong
international diplomacy makes him a perfect choice for our incompetent,
destructive president.
