It started off great. I loved the other moon, the little creatures, then you seemed to get tired of your own idea and just wanted to be silly! Come on - if the Js were considered inferior by the Rs, then copulating with one would be considered bestiality, surely. If you are lonely, you might have one as a pet. Then you could observe its behaviour - and what you observe could help olve a secondary postulation which you put into the story. Ejected refuse from Earth, or the approach of a (populated?) satellite built by humans could do it. You could have fun with intelligent germs - which is what these are - infesting the station! They prob. couldn't eat anything human, but as their structure is so basic they'd mutate easy. And into what? And what would the mutated loner do to his species on Tyro? Anthropomorphism is far too easy an out for an idea with this much potential. Rewrite needed!

Hello Barry! I must say that this piece of your teachings of the birds and bees was entirely exquisite. Even the part of goo explanation had me exited, almost as much as your writing.
