Couriers

Von:
Couriers
Mankind has always wondered how the world would end and if he, in some form, would go on.

Here, the most unlikely of "heroes" finds out.

The good news is: It's not global climate change that gets us.

The bad news is: It doesn't help us either.
.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Barry Carver is a native of the Detroit area and has been everything from a short-order cook to an army sergeant to an actual Hollywood actor.

Now a disabled veteran, he has settled in the Washington, DC area raising two small sons and, occasionally, tomatoes and basil.

Worthy of envy, deserving of praise - this is worthwhile literature.

I love these reviews - even the ones that take time to point out the problems - but I never expected to do so well in reruns!

I hardly know difference between spec script and shooting one, but after finally getting your piece in PDF so I could get a quick read, I zipped through meat of it all. I especially liked the deliveries, the scene with Prof Subcheck probably my favorite, with the bedroom scene mixed in it made it good tale with building tension. Since it was an end of the world story, didn’t take long to figure out what was going on. I... mehr anzeigen

Of course you're right.

Most actors only see a shooting script but, having done coverage on literally hundreds of spec scripts, I've seen all sorts of things slipped in between the lines of the usual format.

In this case, knowing the readership here, I chose to explain things a bit more in detail - without going beyond the range of acceptable format.

It's so much easier for the art department and special effects folks to have... mehr anzeigen

for votes, I had to return and finish the reading - even had I not, I would have voted for your offering. I second Kenneth thoughts.

I had one concern - your script reads more like a book {which is delightful for the reader} - in all scripts I've had an acting part - only the bare bones were served. That is, each actor got their lines with a minimum of story which was told through the lines.

In any case, I certainly enjoyed... mehr anzeigen
