I get the fact that his steel-grey tired ayes were revitalized by the rain and turned "blueberry blue". Excellent imagery and a great story about the healing power of nature!!

Beautiful story except for the eye colour. Grey at start, blueberry blue at end. Was that deliberate or an oversight to fulfill the romaniticism of the moment?
