You also keep the reader guessing just enough to make reading more a given.
A quick note - you tend to jump tenses from past perfect to present, which makes it a little bumpy to read. An easy fix, though, and since this is a work in progress, I'm sure you're aware of the occasional glitch.
Having said that, though, I'm already drawn to your characters, and the story itself is sweet, slightly mysterious, and very interesting. I... mehr anzeigen
