This was a refreshingly original spin on an age-old fairy tale, and I must say it had me hooked from start to finish. You have a remarkable way with description; I had such a vivid image in my mind because of it, from her green wedding dress to the gnarled, arthritic woman she became.

There were, however, a few little spelling hiccups (like confusing alter and altar) but it wasn't anything major. Also, you might want to read over writingmum's formatting rules for the contest, because it's not quite formatted correctly. And it'd be a shame for such a good story to get disqualified for something trivial like that :)

P.S It was a shame that your story came to a halt on p12 :( i wanted to keep reading about Alina, does she have her own story? If she does i will be the 1st reader!

hello, i really love beauty and the beast stories and your story gives me a whole new vision, as soon as read the first few pages i was sucked into your masterpiece, great job! I hope you continue writing other books 2 :)
