Unfinished Tales
Some short Unfinished Tales I've written....and maybe will finish one day....or not. If enough interest is there, it may inspire me to continue.

Why has no one mentioned "Whispers?" That's my favorite to be continued. Most of these seem like interesting scenes from the middle of stories, rather than beginnings. Whispers does seem like a beginning, and a good one. The story could continue the strange life of Mr. Bucktooth, bouncing between fantasy and reality. Maybe the two even come into conflict.

A true abstract piece that moves from one insight to the next. The angel descriptions make it feel like you are surfing dimensions. Great piece. Thanks Lazarus.

In "The Future", the line, Bob's Barber shop door stands wide open revealing ghosts of paying customers from yesterday grabs you into the story.

The detail is immaculate. Love the idea.

I found each one a delight to read and yes you have a vivid imagination. I would like to see where you would take, Red to; and iI also loved the last one where he was observing the insects and some voice asked how he could be helped. But most i feel were complete and left the reader to fill in there own conclusion for the tale.

Thanks...I may just sit down and finish some.
And that's exactly my problem, John...an overactive mind. If I don't finish a story quickly enough, my mind is off in another direction.
To quote a great Canadian author, Stephen Leacock...'Madly off in all directions". That's my mind...lol.

Such amazingly well written "excerpts"; your active imagination is all over the place.

I expected the excellent writing from you, but how in the world can you write such gems and not finish them? That would drive me crazy...

Finish them. Great starts - Laz- a big problem I have with my starts is I can't figure the finishes!!!! You have great ones - I especially was drawn into The Future - several, didn't read all of them but - clever ideas and half a book - hogie!

I agree with all that have gone before. I did not read every one, but those several I did read intrigued me. Like you, I have written a few short bits inclusive of old nursery rhymes and childrens tales. It nakes for intresting twists. Well done. Bluedragon

All these stories are great and I would have loved an ending to all of them, but at the same time, I enjoy the suspense you put us in. I really found it creative when you didn't even finish the last word of the first story. I can't say that I've seen other writers use that to portray that their story is incomplete.
The half screen boo size was another great visual :D
