Thanks Andrea. Don't worry about Buster. He will feel grass under his paws again. I aim to write a follow up soon.

This story has my mind spinning with questions. Will poor Buster ever get to feel grass under his paws. To live for possibly an eternity, with no other human contact? For a 10 page short story, it sure has me thinking of all kinds of things and feeling very grateful for the people and things I take for granted. A Great Story!!!! Thank You, Lazarus!!

Serena...the last time I put my Aveo into the garage, because we were going away for a winter trip to Florida, I had to climb out the car window because the car was so jammed in.

Your character thought he got away with it and he did, or did he? What a fortune could be made if only those were around to hold all of our goodies.I could put my car in the garage. That is what a garage is for right? Serena

That was GREAT! It took me a while to get to the story, but...what a story! I cracked up on that next-to-the-last page, lol, but then smiled at the ending sentence. Exquisite, my friend!

A great story, with a fantastic ending. When I read about the Zpegs contest, I was wondering what I could possibly write about. I regret not having thought of this. Well done ;)
