Very sad, very touching, with a slightly positive yet mellow undertone. It really brought a lot of emotion to me as I was reading it, especially the part "to lose.. to lose, what was once mine....once was ours."

The entire poem is FULL of feeling and emotion, very heartfelt, but once I read that line it just made my heart ache with sympathy and sorrow.

Great poem. I look forward to going through and reading more of your work. :)
