I love it! And yes, this is an uncomfortable area for traditional evangelicals to open up to questions. After reading this, I'm almost positive you'd like 'Love Wins.'

That religion is full of mis-translations, mis-understandings, and mis-conceptions.

Some have commented, but all in all not enough. Also I posted this in one of the religious groups here to see what they would say....but they have kept very silent...lol. I find that funny and strange.

It was rather interesting how you simplified the big questions of christian existence. Very clearly written and easy to understand, no unnecessary pompous language. You actually managed to pull some smiles from me.
I think you could expand it a little as it felt unfinished and rushed a bit.

All in all, it is a nice approach and I think that all religious people should ask themselves those questions.

True what you say Angela...Although it was written by many men, it was also inspired by God, who makes sure that it is interpreted correctly by those who seek the Truth. Only men are confused...not what is written.

Shows you have an open-mind and carry what many do -- you note the inconsistenties in the Bible. I can answer one question for you, though. The reason for some contradictions is because, well, known fact: The Bible was written by men. So, there is some "point-of-views" in there that may or may not be 100% relevant or true today.

If you accept the definition of FAITH as being...
“Faith is the assured expectation of things hoped for, the evident demonstration of realities though not beheld.”
then with that faith we can find answers in the Holy Scriptures for questions that have perplexed mankind for centuries.
