The Fifth Horseman by Laura Patricia Kearney was beautifully written, the reason why I feel this way is because it is a short story but with so much detail! The word in a nutshell, what I got from it was, it's the story of humanity, a process that no one skips! Before we come to earth we are pure, when we wake up (being born on earth) we become deceived by the world of illusion, our spirit sleeps. Society said this is real and this is what's important, we then lose ourselves in the world, trying to fit in which causes pain, suffering and chaos in our lives. By not understanding ourselves which is being disconnected from god, this leaves us vulnerable to more evil and pain, we end up doing more things that causes friction in our lives, then life keeps kicking our butts until we find out the truth within, Christ. Now this allows God to wash away our fears and our pain from past events. Then we find peace because we stopped being afraid to be ourselves, evil, self criticism and anger no longer run our thoughts. Very intuitive story Laura! I enjoyed every moment of suspense until the end, which was satisfying.
