Okay, first my heart....now my mind?! Not fair!
My mind is trying to understand what just happened and how you came up with it. Wow.
I was taking time to digest this, I still am. What?

This was sort of an anti-vampire story....with a twist...of course. thanks.
Does the name Quasimodo ring a bell.
Ar ar
This is GOOD, Laz. I've forgotten how elegantly you paint pictures with words. The way in which the vampire is dealt with makes me chuckle. :) Way to go.

Thanks Mary. Appreciate your comment.
There's no mincing words, here; your language and setting descriptions were tight. I couldn't stop reading in the way you'd already set up the story and developed characters that play off one another well. Was intrigued. I'm not sure he is, Laz. Is he?

Your comment brings tears to my eyes...lol. Thanks a lot!.
And n...it's not the garlic that wets my eyes
I've enjoyed tzatziki that would knock your socks off.
Lol. Nut!
Nuts...Yes I am...lol.
When I got to the part about all that garlic in the food, I thought the vampire might have bitten the guy, gotten poisoned by the garlic-tainted blood, and as he pulled out of the old guy's neck in a panic, one of his fangs got stuck. As usual, though, Judy gets way too complicated - the beautiful simplicity of garlic breath was a stroke of sheer genius!
I began grinning halfway through, and was giggling hysterically by the... mehr anzeigen

Hahaha....thanks a bunch.
Zombies...hmmmm
Loved it! By the point where your narrator mentioned that Sam had his full attention ... you had mine! There was no way I was going to stop reading until I was finished. Thanks for the enjoyable tale!
