The Not You (Me)
Von: Lana Claborn
The Me that is Not
The part of my spirit
that holds me captive
'Me holding me in
I lose my way, my path grows dim
Feeling around in front of me my hands grasp the empty air in frustration
Can I find my way back?
Have I lost a safe place in me?
It's not over
When a child falls, she gets up again
If I am given another day
the the Lord still sees the woman He built
and good still exists, along with love
Each moment is mine to affect
The part of my spirit
that holds me captive
'Me holding me in
I lose my way, my path grows dim
Feeling around in front of me my hands grasp the empty air in frustration
Can I find my way back?
Have I lost a safe place in me?
It's not over
When a child falls, she gets up again
If I am given another day
the the Lord still sees the woman He built
and good still exists, along with love
Each moment is mine to affect
