Damen rose at dusk to the stench of fresh blood. following the scent wich leads him to a overturned car. inside he discovers the bodies of two passengers a young man and woman in their mid thirties. but that wasnt the blood he smelt when he awoke. the blood led him to where a small child lay,her heart slowly beating, a large bite mark shown on the side of her neck.finally deciding what to do, he lifted her into his arms and carried her to his fortress.
