While I am no stranger to dark experiences as I have had my share of them, different from yours though, but that is life. What doesn't kill one only makes one stronger in both mind and spirit. It is good that you focus on what you think of yourself and not let fools determine that for you. It is also a therapeutic thing to write down one's experiences as it can certainly help relieve much pain and sorrow. I want to write my own memoir some day. Here's hoping that things continue to get better for you.
