Excellent writing!

Most of the time I pass on reading poetry because the writer has usually made it too convoluted and obtuse for me. If I have to work too hard in understanding it, it loses its value to me.

But yours was precise, targeted and "brought it to me." I could visualize it.

Once, in my dim past, I wrote
poetry. Reading "I Am The Writer" brought back memories of why dabbled in it once upon a time.

I'm certainly not an expert, but I really enjoyed it.
