Eve McAllister has been having really weird dreams lately and waking up feeling exhausted. It all started when her boyfriend Hanz Johaansen brought up the idea of marriage during a lunch date. And despite how much she loves him, it freaks her out as she knows that he (who is from a large conservative family) would want to be a dad, but she has not yet told him that there is no chance for that as she is infertile. As a vimp (an impossible cross between a vampire and an imp) with a 300 year life span and always fighting her noctural instincts and natural craving for blood, adoption is also not an option. 

But then Eve notices weird things going on around the university campus, and she starts wonder if her weird dreams are in fact real and not anxiety induced. The problem is, some of the things happening are illegal--and technically, she is the one doing them. Eve needs to find out the truth before real trouble happens and somebody gets hurt.
