Wow, you took a tragedy and walked us through it with a touch of humor. You kept me enthralled all the way to the satisfying conclusion.

Truly enjoyed this story, Judy. Going through something like that can be hair-raising, especially when you're missing a child. Yet, you found humor in the mist of this tragic affair.

Thanks for bringing a smile to my face...as usual. There is nothing like a personal experience to make us realize that it can happen anywhere - be it a hurricane, tornado or earthquake. As usual, your humor shines through and makes even the most frightening of events seem like a frolic. Your family are lucky to have someone like you...I bet you have them in stitches!!

I enjoyed your flawless account of hurricane Charlie, and your style of writing.I will recommend this book to others. I smiled as I read your story, and could relate, although we have earthquakes . I have been through flooding in a couple of the places we have lived in although the water never came into the house it did disrupt life for several days. During these disasters our kids can test our patience, and the things they do often send us over the edge.

I felt as though I was with you every step of the way, willing you to find your daughter safe & well. I also found your summary to be very informative.

Thanks, Pat! You know, to this day, all my daughter really remembers is how crazy I looked standing there in that downpour, leaning against the wind as I tried to look stern. I wonder what happened to the flashlight...

I heard from my brother who lives in Connecticut; fortunately, they didn't even lose electricity. My friends in New York weren't quite that lucky, but at least their homes are still intact and everyone is okay.

I think it's awesome that BookRix is doing this for the victims. In circumstances like these, every bit helps! =D
