This was one of those stories that happen when you're doing something non-writing related (I was tossing a raccoon at the dog... a toy raccoon, lol) when for some reason I can't explain, the idea for the story occurred to me. So I dashed off to my computer and wrote it. The ending suggested itself suddenly, surprising me, too.

Writing is so weird. That's probably why I love it so much. 'D

By the way, did you write that "Shattered Mirror" poem on your profile? It's extraordinary, well-written, and deeply insightful.

Yep. I was just stumbling around in the community and was looking for books, I saw your post in some group so I thought I should read it out and I really enjoyed it. Then I was on your profile and damn you got a huge pile of book. I was like I have to read one more now and I got this one. You are really good. I will read your other books gradually :)
